Flag Factory's New Digital Printer
is a computer controlled direct to fabric print system.
Intricate and photographic designs can be faithfully
reproduced to a high standard. Other advantages
of the digital system are the ability to print long
panels with no problems and also to produce small quantities
economically. We also print digitally on reinforced
PVC fabric.
Screen
Printing
The traditional method
of printing. The image is transferred to a silk-screen
and then onto the fabric by forcing the ink through
the fine mesh of the screen by means of sqeegees.
It is then heat-set and finally washed to get rid of
any excess dye.
This
method is particularly applicable to simpler designs with
clearly defined solid colours. In the case of larger
quantities this is the more economical option.
